The countdown is officially on! Madrid is ready to transform once again into the global epicenter of diversity, joy, and LGTBIQ+ rights with the celebration of Madrid Orgullo (MADO '26). For ten unforgettable days, the world-famous Chueca neighborhood and major city squares—including Puerta del Sol, Plaza de España, and Plaza de las Reinas—will come alive with open-air concerts, cultural events, and high-energy parties.

Festival Highlights You Can’t Miss:

  • The Famous High Heel Race (Carrera de Tacones): One of the funniest and most iconic events of the festival, where brave participants dash down the cobbled streets of Chueca in massive heels.
  • The Opening Proclamation (Pregón): The official kick-off event, packed with live music, celebrity guests, and inspiring speeches.
  • The Massive Pride Parade (Saturday, July 4th): The climax of MADO. A breathtaking, colorful sea of freedom and music floats that marches right through the heart of Madrid, from Atocha station to Plaza de Colón. It is officially the largest LGTBIQ+ mobilization in Europe!
