Description
San Martín de Valdeiglesias can be reached by public transport from the city of Madrid, via the intercity bus line or overnight the night before in one of the accommodations offered by the area.
San Martín de Valdeiglesias, San Martín de Valdeiglesias, located in the basin of the river Alberche, offers innumerable tourist attractions such as the Embalse de San Juan, one of the beaches of Madrid; the Castillo de la Coracera; or the Enchanted Forest.

Upon your arrival in Cadalso, you can not miss the Mezquita site, made up of the remains of a church of Romanesque-Mudejar origin, which at the end of the 20th century was totally ruined, as well as the nearby cemetery, with tombs of the eleventh and twelfth centuries outside the temple, and other more modern ones that display masonic engravings on the decks.
Your next stop is Cenicientos, where you can not miss the Luís Saavedra winery, a winery with a history of 4 generations treating the land and the vines based on ecology.
This part of the route is circular and finishes back in Cadalso of the Glass, so if you see with few forces you can cut the route.
Once back in Cadalso, do not hesitate to make a stop to visit the Palace of the Marquess of Villena before heading back to San Martin de Valdeiglesias.
Finally, as a colophon to this precious experience, we recommend that you visit, in the heart of San Martín de Valdeiglesias, the Coracera Castle, built in 1434 by Álvaro de Luna and place of residence of Isabel La Católica when he was proclaimed heir of Castilla after the Jura of Guisando.
