Samhain: Celtic music and dance

Information

Thousands of years ago, in Ireland, the Celtic people bid farewell to summer with the harvest and celebrated the beginning of a new year: music, dancing around bonfires, and remembrance of loved ones. This festival, "Samhain," eventually gave rise to All Saints' Day.

And now you can experience it in our village. The Comarcal Center "Corral del Concejo," in Garganta de los Montes, becomes the stage for this wonderful proposal, where the Belgian band "Aérokorda," with its neofolk influenced by Celtic, Slavic, and classical music, joins the dancers of "Irish Treble," a benchmark of Irish dance in Spain, in a captivating fusion that brings this tradition to life from the present.

It's a luxury to enjoy this wealth of popular traditions without leaving the Valley of Lozoya. @pueblosconvidacm
