Festivities of the Foundation of Nuevo Baztán

Nuevo Baztán returns to its origins.

Every October, one of the most historic towns in the Community of Madrid celebrates its traditional Fiestas de la Fundación, an event where heritage, culture, and tradition transform its streets.

For an entire weekend, the surroundings of the Palacio de Goyeneche and its historical complex come alive with a baroque artisan market, ancient trades, music, performances, exhibitions, theatrical visits, puppets, dance, and activities for the whole family.

And among its most special traditions… the popular migas de San Miguel, prepared by the town's elders and shared with neighbors and visitors.
