Heroines in Zarzuela

This Saturday, August 15, the Town Hall Square will be filled with music with «Heroínas en la zarzuela», a show by Camerata Lírica dedicated to the great female protagonists of the history of zarzuela and lyrical sainete.

Two great sopranos from the national scene, accompanied on the piano by a renowned pianist, will bring to life unforgettable characters such as Marina, the dreamer Elena from El Barbero de Sevilla, Valentina from La Marchenera, or the bold Niña Estrella from Don Gil de Alcalá.

A journey through some of the most well-known romances and duets of our lyrical genre, featuring women full of strength, passion, emotion, and character.
